i want a vincent...

but i don't have the necessary coin to procure one.
...so i'm on the lookout for a 920 virago preferrably of the early chain-drive variety so i can build a cafe bike similar to this one. i don't know who built it, i just googled virago cafe racer and found it. mine will be different but take some definite cues from this xv750. builder, whoever you are, nice work.

sportsters are rad...

i've wanted a sporty for a long time but i hate being dependent on the electric start so i've been looking for an ironhead. just for s&g i axed the google if there was a kit to fit a kicker to an evo sportster and i ran across this beauty, custom made out of yamaha rd350 bits. in a norton featherbed. i want it so bad.

buy this pickup ... now!

adventures in riding home

i ride as much as i can, i ride to work almost everyday.
yesterday on my ride home from work a bee flew in between my helmet and my face and got stuck in my beard... and stung me in the face. lame.

when we wuz kidz...

it seemed like everybody i knew had a tire swing, now i almost never see them. i was thinking about where i could get away with putting one and i still haven't found a place but my brain works funny and while i was off on a tangent i came up with this.

food

this is how we livin' when lunchtime comes at the shop.

seat

the leather is from an first hammock seat on my honda 750 but its the right size and will do the trick until i get the new one done. more to come as the plot thickens.

funny things

happen when you least expect it. friday after work my bike was running weird and then died and i had to leave it at a gas station and head down the sidewalk with my chev-ro-legs. kinda pissed about the bike and then i saw this graffito in the sidewalk and the world instantly got a little closer to right again. thanks to the annonymous "justin" for publicizing his thoughts and cheering me up.
